Why This Race Matters

T. L. Harris knows Memphis–Shelby County Schools because he is a product of them. He knows Whitehaven because he has lived there for more than 30 years. He knows what strong leadership looks like because he has led organizations through difficult transitions and delivered results.

He is running for the District 6 School Board because he believes our students deserve better — not promises, but plans. Not rhetoric, but results. Not excuses, but expectations.

District 6 has incredible potential. It has dedicated teachers. It has passionate parents. It has students ready to succeed. What it needs now is a board member who will fight for measurable literacy growth, transparent accountability, and disciplined oversight.

That leader is T. L. Harris. The Standard Starts Now.
